He assessed my problem and clearly walked me through what the was causing the issue and gave me a couple different solutions! Throughout completing the job he kept me informed in what he was doing and the purpose of different parts. It was extremely helpful for me as I am not of a trade background it made me feel at ease and confident that I was making the right decision. On top of that I now have a better understanding of many aspects of my home! I am generally daunted when it comes to dealing with trades and who to trust as a lot of the technical stuff goes over my head. But again Jacobe was extremely friendly, honest and made everything clear. He broke it all down into layman’s terms and left me feeling confident in all the works completed. I would highly recommend Jacobe and Prestige plumbing and building to anyone, particularly if like me you want a company you can trust to do the right thing by you and complete all works to a high standard. He quoted fairly I thought, and started and finished on time. There was good effective communication between us throughout and the job was completed to a very high standard. He diagnosed our storm water leak, and fix it up quickly and a minimum of fuss. He even reinstalled our side gate without being prompted. Our house is on a slope and we are having issues with water entering the sub floor, and water pooling in our yard from the natural water-course. Being an older house Jacobe recommended we waterproof from the founations up, and install ag drains. Giving options for either concreating or finishing with agregate (which we ended up going with). Jacobe was concerned with ensuring the job would be right, but giving cost saving options if they were available. He kept us informed with what was going on, and always called to chat the next day to explain any issues or changes he made on the fly. I have attached some before and after pictures of Jacobes completed drainage work. Both pictues were after around 20mm of rain. Planning on using Jacobe in the future for both plumbing and building related work. read less
